Twitch Viewer Bot Usage Guidelines

Though we provide the tools for a streamer to be successful, it is the streamer's responsibility to make the bot seem as natural as possible. We have seen many new streamers make similar mistakes so we have compiled a small list that can provide you with some basic keypoints.

• Make sure that your follower/channel views/live viewer ratio is proportional. We see many streamers who have either not added any followers nor channel views and yet add 800 live viewers with 2 platinum packages or even more to their stream. This obviously isn't very realistic.
• We see many people re-use the same quotelist that has been used by hundreds of thousands of other people. Quite frankly, so many people have used the same quotelists that by now almost every frequent Twitch user must recognize them.
• If you do decide to use a quotelist for the chatbot, make sure it is optimized for YOUR channel. For example, for biggest streamers we find that quotelists that contain some ASCII art does pretty well. You can even create your own memes.
• The ONLY way you can get banned on Twitch for using a bot, is if you actually admit to doing on Twitch itself. Believe it or not, we've had people making this mistake in the past.
• You should highly consider setting a higher delay than the default value between each viewer. Many users prefer to set the minimum delay for the live viewers to come in, which doesn't look very natural.
